AHA & PHA ACID COMPLEX - 40% Mandelic Acid + AHA + Lactobionic Acid, pH 1.6

Mandelic acid has the strongest antibacterial action among AHA acids, reducing the severity of acne and limiting sebum production. Thanks to its remarkable anti-aging properties, it fills fine lines. It perfectly brightens discolorations and evens out scars on the skin. When used with high sun protection, it can be successfully used all year round.

• Action: exhibits keratolytic action, reduces fine lines, smooths, firms, and revitalizes the skin, brightens discolorations, does not cause post-treatment discolorations, evens out skin tone, exhibits bacteriostatic action, reduces and regulates sebum production.

Mandelic Acid Exfoliation Treatment

• Indications: common and rosacea acne, oily and seborrheic skin, blackheads, folliculitis, epidermal melasma (chloasma), wrinkles, photoaging, skin revitalization.
• Action: rejuvenates, firms, smooths, tightens the skin, evens out skin tone, brightens discolorations, exhibits bacteriostatic action (helpful in treating acne), reduces and regulates sebum production, decreases fine lines, exhibits keratolytic action.
• Contraindications: seborrheic dermatitis, fungal infections, psoriasis, active viral infections (e.g., herpes), acne in the active phase, therapy with Vitamin A derivatives, pregnancy, and lactation.

Main Active Ingredients

• MANDELIC ACID - acts gently, is completely devoid of irritating effects, soothes skin inflammation, heals acne and acne lesions, brightens sun and post-inflammatory discolorations, evens out skin tone.
• LACTIC ACID - refreshes and smooths the skin, has disinfecting properties, soothes irritations and inflammation, restores the appropriate pH of the skin. It has keratolytic properties, softening the hardened epidermis.
• LACTOBIONIC ACID - due to its unique water-binding properties in the epidermis, strengthens its protective barrier. Prevents the formation of telangiectasia, enhances the elasticity of blood vessels. It is a strong antioxidant.

Important Information

• The exfoliation treatment can be performed year-round, but there is a ban on using solariums and sun exposure before, during, and two weeks after the treatment.
• Frequency of 6-8 treatments with a minimum interval of 7 days.
• During the treatment, no other peels are performed.

Treatment Procedure

1. Perform eye and lip makeup removal using an eye and lip makeup remover. Cleanse the skin of the face, neck, and décolleté using a satin cleansing milk. Tone the skin undergoing treatment with a satin gel toner.
2. Protect hands with latex or vinyl gloves. The gel preparing for exfoliation should be applied to the damp skin of the face, neck, and décolleté. Gently massage to cleanse the skin, then rinse with water and dry with a treatment tissue. Before starting the treatment, protect the eye area (with a dry cotton pad), the wings of the nose, corners of the mouth, atypical pigmented lesions, skin damage (with petroleum jelly or a greasy cream). Ask the client to keep their eyes closed during the treatment. During exfoliation, constantly observe the skin's reaction and ask about sensations. It is inadvisable to leave the chair.
3. From a glass bowl, apply the appropriate amount of 40% Mandelic Acid to the skin. The acid is applied with a dry brush made of natural bristles. The application time gradually increases with each subsequent treatment by 2 minutes. The first treatment starts at 3 minutes, the second treatment - 5 minutes, the last treatment a maximum of 10 minutes.
4. After the specified time, the action of the acid should be interrupted with the Neutralizer. Then rinse the skin with lukewarm water and dry with a treatment tissue.
5. Apply a thick layer of Nourishing-Regenerating Mask for Exfoliation to the face, neck, and décolleté, avoiding the eye area. The mask should be thoroughly covered with cosmetic film. Leave on for about 10 minutes. After this time, remove the film and gently rinse off the excess mask with lukewarm water. Tone the skin. Dry with a treatment tissue.
6. At the end of the treatment, apply a product suitable for the client's needs to the eye area. Apply Post Treatment Care - High Protection Face Cream SPF 50 to the face and neck.
