L’Oréal Professionnel Majirel is a professional hair dye with a very wide color palette, including both natural shades and intense highlights. The line offers over 50–150 shades (depending on the version of the chart), allowing for precise color matching to every hair type and final effect.

The Majirel numbering system is based on the level of brightness (1–10) and reflections after the comma, which makes it easier to choose the right shade.

How to read the Majirel numbering

• first digit = level of brightness (1–10)

• 5.12 = light brown + ash + pearl
