REUZEL is a Dutch barber brand known worldwide, founded by two friends, Leen and Bertus, from the Rotterdam barbershop - Shorem Haarsnijder en Barbier. The name of the company translates to “lard,” hence the pig on the pomade cans and in the logo. Depending on the pomade, it can be a piglet, pig, or hog.

The cosmetics have original packaging. Hair styling products are enclosed in metal cans that give the impression of being old, worn, and dirty, while liquid products like shampoo, conditioner, or tonic are in characteristic long-necked bottles. These bottles are modeled after whiskey bottles!

The most popular products are undoubtedly hair pomades – waxy, water-based, creams, and clays. Reuzel pomades have different levels of hold and finishes – matte or shiny. These products are easy to apply, have a strong scent that lasts a long time in the hair, and are pleasant and interesting.

Reuzel cosmetics are handmade. They are made from natural and skin-safe ingredients. Their formula is enriched with extracts from herbs and plants, including witch hazel, nettle, field horsetail, rosemary, and peppermint.

Matte Styling Paste

Reuzel Matte Styling Paste is a medium hold paste with a flexible finish that works well with various hair lengths, adding texture and highlighting selected strands of hair. It leaves hair matte, and the water-based formula makes it easy to wash out.
