Usage

Disinfection and sterilization of cosmetic tools
IMPORTANT!

Metal tools must undergo a decontamination process before use, including: washing, disinfection, and sterilization. After each service, all tools are considered contaminated and require re-sterilization. This procedure also applies to new tools before first use.

After using the tool, it should be cleaned of organic residues, polishes, or acrylic, and then placed in an ultrasonic cleaner with an appropriate cleaning and disinfecting solution. The used preparations should have a broad spectrum of action against viruses, fungi, yeasts, bacteria, and tuberculosis bacilli.

During disinfection, it is essential to follow the manufacturer's recommendations regarding the preparation of the solution, exposure time, temperature, and concentration. Improper use may lead to corrosion and damage to the tools. Tools showing signs of corrosion should be withdrawn from use.

After disinfection, tools should be thoroughly rinsed with water, dried, and the moving parts secured with medical paraffin. Sterilization should be carried out in a type B autoclave, in a sterile barrier, using distilled or demineralized water, according to the manufacturer's recommendations for the device. The use of ball sterilizers is not recommended.

During tool processing, personal protective equipment should be used, and alcohol, chlorinated water, high temperatures of the solution (above 40°C), and metal brushes should be avoided.
